Adult & childn aged ≥6 yr Take 1 effervescent tab once daily, before or after meals.Patient w/ reduced cough reflex (elderly & weakened patient) Take 1 effervescent tab preferably in the morning.
Discontinue treatment if cutaneous or mucosal alterations newly occur. Phenylketonuria. Administer tetracycline HCl separately & at least 2 hr apart. May result in accumulation of bronchial secretions in concomitant use of antitussive agents. Monitor for possible occurrence of hypotension & headache if concomitant administration w/ nitroglycerin cannot be avoided. Pregnancy & lactation.
